I started this blog at the beginning of the year at Blog.com. A place you definitely don’t want to have your blog because they would often go down for up to 5 days at a time. There was absolutely no community. I didn’t know there was even supposed to be one. There was no customer service either. It took me almost 3 months to individually re-post my posts when I moved here because I couldn’t get my xml file. But then I found WordPress and I’m so glad I’m here, I found some great people. I have a very focused blog so I recently started a new blog so I can share some of the great posts I’ve found. I’m looking forward to having a great year in 2015. This has been a lot of fun, learning to write. Jamie, in prison, has been getting these posts by mail along with comments, so comment away. He’ll appreciate reading them and knowing there is a world outside.

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here's an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 1,900 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 32 trips to carry that many people.

    1. I agree. This has brought out a part of me that I always wanted to do. Having the right subject you want to write about gives you a purpose with hopefully an end result. I know where I want my blog to go and that is to create an ability for Jamie to have the life he wants when he gets out of prison. If he can use his experience as a way to help others and can also support the life he wants to have with his son then there is a benefit to this experience we are sharing. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication if you want it to be something more than just a hobby. That is why I have 2 blogs. The other one http://www.watchandwhirl.com I started because that one is much more relaxed and fun. I like helping to promote others efforts. Good luck!
